![]() ![]() That is, the problem doesn't seem to be due to certain dates requiring too much space on the taskbar and hence the OS suppressing them entirely. When it worked, there was no logic to it for a while, specifying a longer day of the week format (dddd instead of ddd) made the date appear even though that took more space on the taskbar. Sometimes that worked, by immediately restoring the date. I have tried adjusting the settings via this thread: right click | adjust date and time | date, time, and regional settings | additional date, time, and regional settings | change date, time, or number formats | additional settings | date (tab) | and then trying different short date formats. ![]() About two weeks ago, an intermittent problem began to occur: the date part of the Date and time display on my taskbar disappears on some days. ![]()
